@NickyDekker89 I disagree it's not about the land. This particular land is relatively close to Moscow and other important Russian cities so it's dangerous for Russia to leave it under control of a country radically hostile to Russia. It's potentially very valuable economically. And it's populated by people who speak Russian. So the land is important, it's worth fighting a longer war for. Of course it's also about preventing Ukraine from joining NATO. I don't think Russia is going to accept any kind of peace where Ukraine joins NATO at all unless all that's left of Ukraine is the north west. I think we're going to see a major move on Kharkov before this war is over. And cities like Kharkov, Sumy and certainly Slavyansk could quite well return to Russia.
