@Papaghost8902 I agree with your overall assessment but 10 to 1 casualties isn't plausible. It's certainly one sided but we've seen plenty of footage of Ukrainian successes.

Why stop at Crimea, why not just advance all the way to Moscow and simultaneously, launch a naval assault on Vladivostok?

The Americans in Syria are starting to look very exposed.

Definitely, the US Army was hoping to replace a lot of their old equipment with new equipment, using the Ukraine armaments funds.

I bet Blackrock isn't buying assets east of the Dniepr!

Exaggerated ... his takes have always minimised Russian problems. It's obvious Russia is winning but Scott Ritter goes way too far.

Did you miss the Vic Nuland "f**k the EU" phone call?

Taking Crimea is not realistic. If Russia really felt threatened they could mobilise another one million, two million men whatever they needed to. And they could use tactical nuclear weapons. What then? NATO either backs down or commits suicide by starting WW3.

Totally agree, the UK MOD releases are just propaganda. The Russians got a nasty surprise by the Kharkov offensive, after that, they were very, very wary and pessimistic. The Crimean offensives were started around that time. Since then the Russian mobilised reserves are trained and the Russian position keeps improving.

@colincampbell4261 Are you sure NATO countries want to fight a nuclear war with Russia? There's this moronic rhetoric that the Russians are all bluff but at some point if they're pushed hard enough of course they'll retaliate. If they start fighting aircraft launched from Polish airfields, they'd be mad NOT to hit those airfields - because if they didn't, they're fighting a losing war against NATO at a disadvantage. It's almost certain the Polish government understands this and doesn't want to be in the front line of a nuclear war.

@seniorbuttocksbiggusdickus7147 In the immediate aftermath of the dam blowing, Ukraine opened the upstream flood gates but after peak flooding level downstream, closed them again. Those are the facts. As for who blew the dam originally we can't be sure but I have my suspicions. Let's just say anyone who accused Russia of blowing the NS pipeline should remember first we had the Seymour Hersh article and since then we have the Americans accusing Ukraine.

Yes but it's been flattened by artillery since.
