Putin never said anything about invading NATO land, it's NATO which has been pushing eastward. What Putin did say many times over and over was that NATO joining Ukraine was a red line. If he hadn't been ignored this war need never have happened.

That goes for both sides. Before the war Ukraine was owned by oligarchs and the ordinary people had nothing. After the war Ukraine will be split between Blackrock and Russia and the ordinary people will be even poorer than before the war started.

What's funny about that is most of the English speakers talking like that wouldn't know the difference between a Russian guy and a Ukrainian guy if they met one of each.

@limedickandrew6016 I don't get the point about how shallow the sea is. Wreckage either sinks or floats. if it floats, you can see it with a satellite doesn't matter how deep the sea is. If it sinks even 7m deep you can't see it with a satellite.

@limedickandrew6016 No, I'm not claiming there won't be floating wreckage, I'm just questioning why you think the depth of the sea matters. Satellites won't see sunk wreckage 7m underwater any more easily than they would 7000m underwater.
