@ТарасМакаренко-ф3ш It's true the average age of the Ukrainian army is quite old but the younger age group is disproportionately in the high casualty elite units and nationalist units. Even more important, because of the war, millions of young Ukrainians have left the country and most of these have no intention to return.

@chatnoir1224 That's true but 50k for a country the size of Russia is nothing. Also, many of these soldiers were Wagner convicts, i.e. people who were not really too valuable in the first place, many others were ethnic minorities.

It really was exactly that, we know that from various NGOs and people like Vic Nuland. However it's backfired because the Russian regime is much stronger than they expected.

@FerBes-sy9oc Most of the Wagner casualties were disposable convicts. But yes there were many thousands.

Peter Zeihan is just as bad on a lot of other topics, it's just that he has such confident delivery he sucks in people who aren't too knowledgeable about whatever he's talking about.
