So the much vaunted Ukrainian offensive was overblown, Ukraine can't win and continued fighting is achieving what exactly? The Iranian drones contributed to wiping out Ukrainian air defence and contributed to destroying the electric grid. Calling that a mistake is wishful thinking.

@millmoormichael6630 But where's the evidence Russia wants to annex the whole country? Sure Russia wants the pro-Russian parts like Crimea but Ukraine's continued fighting isn't going to prevent that. Every day more guys die and the country is impoverished further. What's going to be left of Ukraine after this war? Already millions of people have left and the population is down to half what it was at the end of the Soviet Union. Ukraine can't win and Russia won't give up so Ukraine is going to have to negotiate eventually anyway. The longer they fight the weaker their hand will be.
