@ No it's not, it's censored so people like you only ever get one side of the story. In reality BOTH sides tell outrageous lies and spread propaganda but this site in particular censors on behalf of one side. Even so there are plenty of places you can look even on YT to find the other side of the story. If you want to understand what's really happening you have to seek out both sides and compare them. On this topic you'll find there's plenty of substance to the complaints of the other side.

@abigailkannai484 Israel didn't even allow Gaza to have a seaport and open access to world trade. Hardly an independent country.

SOME people are obviously well food but likewise, there's plenty of footage of genuine starvation from Gaza too even though Israel has killed a couple of hundred journalists, deliberately wiped out internet connectivity and most Western social media censors footage. Obviously it can be true that some people can be starving while other people are well fed in fact there's probably never been a famine where this did not happen.

@wblake-j4g This logic is embarrassing. That country is far from a civilised democracy and just because people vaguely related to the Palestinians are causing problems over here doesn't excuse them being subject to mass murder, torture and expropriation over there.

Israel has actually executed and tortured tens of thousands of Palestinians over the past decades, often on trivial pretexts.

No because the Palestinians have a higher birth-rate, the Zionists in America are gradually losing credibility and the most productive people in Israel have packed up and left in large numbers. Israel has made an enemy of all of its neighbours in a tough neighbourhood. Its future looks pretty bleak. All it takes is for a future US government to say ok we're sick of this country dragging us into wars, sick of its brutality and land grabs and its neighbours will have many decades of scores to pay back.

@ The Israeli population is behind the war. By the OP's logic (not mine) that makes the Israeli population responsible for each woman, child and non combatant man killed in Gaza, for every civilian building destroyed and for the starvation and lack of medical care there. In fact the same argument has been made by both sides in most major wars.

Why? So Israel can just steal more land? The people who live in Gaza now for the most part are the descendants of people the Zionists expelled from their ancestral homes in the 40s through to the 60s. Why do you make excuses for ethnic cleansing by the Israeli state>?

It's not just him, it's millions of people in Britain. The logic is we don't like these kind of people in our country (for good reasons BTW) so we're going to give a free pass to Israel to do their worst over there even if that involves mass murder, deliberately killing journalists and medical staff, torture and seizing huge amounts of land. It does seem pretty dim

The difference is, Gaza is their homeland, here is not. Just because we don't want them here doesn't make it right that Israel commits mass murder over there.
