@beastmode6225 Drones and precise artillery still leave the defender with an advantage given roughly equal firepower. And firepower is unlikely to be equal especially considering the Russian aviation advantage.

@OctavChelaru We have plenty of instances of Ukrainian morale failing in this war. Take enough casualties and morale will fail, especially when most soldiers are not volunteers and many commanders are incompetent.

In some places the Russians are willing to give up territory easily, on the land corridor to Crimea, there's only so much territory Russia can afford to lose before the railway line is threatened.
