@redscope897 Except that Russia is not seriously threatening Poland. Their shared border is tiny and uncontested. Even if Russia occupied Kiev, with a million man army, they're not going to cross the Polish border. Good Polish relations with Russia is the best guarantee of Polish security.

Russia is also mass producing replacement equipment and even though they've lost a lot, they still have huge stocks of old equipment, I don't think it will be a problem to find at least enough old equipment for those numbers.

I'm curious why Poland would pick a fight with Russia... but they seem to want to anyway. Currently Poland are demanding a totally unrealistic amount of money from Germany as reparations for WWII. It's hard to know what their real thinking is.

@aniksamiurrahman6365 Yes, I also think that is a bit aspect of this :) Three points. 1) Confrontation with the Germans and the Russians at the same time has never worked out well for Poland. 2) The Polish politicians should be smarter than this. 3) The German politicians are being incredibly naive. Their current policy of allying with American against Russia brings them only costs and risks.
