Of course Ukrainian strikes have killed civilians - why do you think they have not?

Dmitry I'm not talking about Kherson, I'm talking about attacks over the border (in Russia). Yes there have been civilian casualties. Even more, attacks on Donetsk City - there have been hundreds of casualties, including from petal mines. There have even been two deaths in Poland from Ukrainian weapons.

You could say the same about the population of Kiev / Kyiv while the Ukrainian army was shelling Donetsk all these years.

@namastezen3300 Everyone knows the US sponsored a violent coup which displaced the democratically elected president and then installed an extreme nationalist government which made war on the ethnic Russians. Don't try to rewrite history. If self determination is good enough for Kosovo then don't be a hypocrite, it's good enough for Donbas too.

@namastezen3300 The atrocities against the Albanians were 99% invented. A bit like Iraqi soldiers turning off baby incubators in Kuwait. People just believed unquestioningly it because of real atrocities by Bosnian Serbs (not the Serbian state) in Bosnia. Atrocities after Maidan OTOH by the Ukrainian nationalists were very widespread. Look at the Odessa massacre - over 50 people murdered, hundreds of witnesses and nobody ever prosecuted.

@wekurtz72 Crimea and the Donbas were part of Russia and inhabited by Russians and were given to Ukraine by Bolshevik bureaucrats. It was never a sustainable situation. If self determination is good enough for Kosovo then don't be a hypocrite, it's good enough for Donbas too.

@wekurtz72 You ask me whether a Ukrainian civil war Russia's business. Explain to us all please why a terrorist insurgency in Serbian Kosovo was NATO's business. Why Syria, Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan were NATO's business. The difference between all those wars and Ukraine is that millions of ethnic Russians live in what you consider to be Ukrainian territory. They've lived there for hundreds of years. In Crimea especially, they are a large majority.

@wekurtz72 Just admit it, NATO waged a war of aggression against Serbia on an invented pretext, deliberately bombed civilian targets and destroyed the inviolability of European borders by seizing Kosovo. Don't blame Russia by playing by the same rules in Ukraine that NATO invented in Yugoslavia. Yeltsin warned Bush and Blair they were creating a dangerous precedent but they ignored him. Now you see the result. Don't be a hypocrite because the parallels are blatant.

@namastezen3300 How can a foreign sponsored violent coup be described as pro-democracy? If you honestly believe the Odessa protesters set fire to themselves then you've never looked at the evidence. Who are the thousands of Kosovans murdered by the Serbian government? We're still waiting for the bodies to be found and the victims to be named. 1999 Moscow bombings, FSB - where's your evidence? Why are you trying to change the subject?
