  8. I get the impression that most intelligent people have better things to do (with the possible exception of the retired) and find it easy to get off jury service so the less intelligent tend to be concentrated on juries. It's a huge flaw in the process.

  9. Trial by jury in South Africa would mean basically anyone of the same ethic group as the majority of the jury would be acquitted regardless of the crime and evidence.
