  5. Actually yes the Russians have captured about a similar amount of territory that the Ukrainians have over the summer, it's just the media doesn't report it. Besides which these tiny amounts of territory changing hands are irrelevant now that this has become a war of attrition - which Russia is winning decisively against a smaller, poorer country, despite all the Western military aid.

  8. It's not unwinnable because Ukraine is slowly running out of manpower whereas Russia is not even mobilising the huge army they could. With patience, Russia will win this decisively.
