  2.  @Tha-King-Arthur  Based on 1) incentives and 2) precedent. Over and over Ukraine has accused Russia of what Ukraine did. For example Ukrainian S300 missile hit Poland killed two farmers. Zelensky blamed Russia. Physically impossible given the range of the missile. Even the Americans were embarrassed.

  3. Same logic as them blowing up their own pipeline and shelling their own cities and flooding their own defensive positions by blowing up a dam so Ukraine can launch an attack across the river straight after the flooding has subsided.
