  9. That's optimistic. Russia has large reserves they haven't committed yet and Ukraine is already at breaking point. We're starting to see large Russian territorial gains now without evidence of high Russian casualties. A lot has changed in the past two months.

  14. Only if you believe propaganda sources about Russian tank losses. In reality the VKV is able to destroy any Ukrainian position detected now and Russian air losses are very low. It's a very, very one sided war and it's getting worse for Ukraine every day

  15.  @rogerwilco2  Everyone agrees that Russia has the aviation, armour, artillery and ammunition advantage. But Ukrainian losses are a third of Russian losses? This is extreme wishful thinking. Anyone who has been following this war with an open mind realises Ukrainian losses are higher - vastly higher. As or 200k Russian dead who are they all? Mediazona identifiers fewer than 50k Russian dead. As for Oryx - samples have been audited and it was found Russian losses were invented and exaggerated, Ukrainian losses were classified as Russian losses and one of the guys behind Oryx came up with the excuse we're volunteers, we don't have time to avoid mistakes. Maybe fair but the point is the Oryx numbers are meaningless.

  16.  @johnschwartz1641  It's a war of attrition, The Russians are taking territory mainly just to force the Ukrainians to fight. If you really want to measure territorial change you;re better off looking at the rate of changing in March April compared to Janurary Feb and compare Jan Feb to last year. It's obvious the Russians are gaining momentum - without evidence of high casualites. Also, Ukrainian morale is cracking. Even guys like Azov or what's left of them have refused orders.

  21.  @Randomuser-ei7is  To be fair both sides have used not only WWII equipment but even WWI equipment. DPR guys have used pre-war rifles and Ukrainian territorials have fielded Maxim guns.

The far smarter option is stop this utter BS about Ukraine joining NATO and start negotiating realistically and by realistically I mean realistically acknowledging the reality that Russia has won this war. Every day the war goes on, Ukraine gets smaller.

  26. That's already happening. The VKV is actually flying over Ukrainian positions now because Ukrainian air defense is so degraded. So FABs can be launched to destroy Ukrainian positions whereever they're detected 50 to 70km from the front lines. But the clowns on this site still believe Ukrainian casualties are lower than Russian casualties.
