@Withnail1969 Correct that S300s are not designed for ground targets but they can be used as ground to ground missiles and Russia used some in that way because they're obsolete and not required for air defence. You are right that some of the S300 hits in Ukraine (and Poland!) are from Ukrainian missiles failing to work as intended.

@jontalbot1 Yeah could be a bad case of Imbissbauch. He's a Stratfor guy and a protoge of George Friedman so he probably got his dislike of Germany (and Russia.. and China) from him.

@jazzyb4656 They used S300s to hit ground targets because they're up to the S500 now for air defence and they're never going to use those S300s for anything else. People have been predicting Russia will run out of missiles since the start of the war. They launched another large barrage of missiles just yesterday. And they just destroyed the large rail bridge south of Odessa.
