The only reason we have for thinking that these aircraft have been shot down at all is because Ukraine told us so. Do you believe everything Ukraine claims? If you do then you still believe that two Polish farmers were killed by a Russian missile, not a Ukrainian missile even though there's strong evidence this is not so. You believe that 16 civilians in a Kramatorsk market were killed by a Russian missile not a Ukrainian missile even though we have video evidence that the missile came from the Ukrainian direction. You believe that Russia shelled civilians in Donetsk City even though they controlled the city for ten years and shell splashes show the shells came from the Ukrainian direction. The point is everyone in war time lies, if you only believe the enemy lies then you're not thinking very hard.

Just like Israel can supply weapons to Ukraine, Russia can supply weapons to Hezbollah or the Houthis or Syria. Long term, if Israel's relations with Russia break down, Israel is finished. Sorry but Russia plus Iran plus popular Arab support makes Israel untenable.
