@Rozerand Romania just banned the most popular politician by far from running in an election. All over Europe, people are being arrested over free speech violations. In Britain you're more than ten times more likely per capita to be prosecuted for social media posts than in Russia. All of these are facts. if you're still talking about the free world, you're decades out of date.

@Lee-fc3yf No the reason Germany is suffering is because of 1) mass immigration and 2) the USA ordering them to cut off their cheap energy supply so they can buy expensive LNG from America instead. Even to the extent of blowing up Nordstream2.

As a German, why are you worried about Russia? Germany and Russia are natural allies. Germany has the industrialisation and Russia has the energy. Any fool can see America's policy towards Germany over the past few decades has been unfriendly at best. The Nordstream attack was outrageous, I can't understand why the German government put up with it.

@Hellfr4g LOL I've lived in Germany, Netherlands and Czech and I speak those languages plus some others. No longer live in Germany but I follow German politics pretty well. Most people in West Germany are totally deranged, it's a mad house really. Almost as bad as California. East Germany is pretty sane.

The Germans were never allies for America. During the Cold War they were cannon fodder. Since the cold war they've been economic competitors.
