@arielmizrahi6359 "alliance" is a massive exaggeration. It's an agreement for the US to prop up the regime in exchange for the regime keeping the oil flowing. Saudi Arabia has joined BRICS and is patching up relations with Iran. That's a massive swing away from the US no matter how you try to spin it. If by alliance you mean the Saudis still want to buy US weapons then yes, that's still true.

@shuki1 Saudi-Iranian relations are the best they've been for almost fifty years. Hard to understand why you don't think is relevant. 96% of Saudi adults want to break relations with Israel. That kind of number can't be ignored even by a dictator.

@stephenderry9488 (Almost) all governments are ultimately accountable to their citizens even if they're not formally democracies. And the Arab street will never forgive Israel for the genocide happening now. Middle Eastern leaders can't ignore that. Also growing BRICS power and thawing Saudi-Iranian relations mean Israel has less space for divide and conquer.

@JM-yn8mb Jeez for someone who watches geopolitics channels that's incredibly naive. US and Britain don't support Israel for their own benefit. It's because Zionists make campaign donations and have media influence. Read the Israel Lobby by Mearsheimer or the Neoconservatism as a Jewish ethnic movement by McDonald. As for not losing allies, just look at the UN. The entire UN except Israel, the USA and two tiny island countries is calling for a ceasefire.
