Nothing says I'm a geopolitical expert like mispronouncing the names of important people. His pronunciation of Russian leaders is just as bad.

@wintermute- People just get annoyed by the blatant propaganda. Bots don't tend to write such relevant comments as what Carlos wrote. Bots tend to write bland generic fan boy comments. And there are plenty such comments here.

@anglaismoyen America is falling apart. At the end of the Second World War, the USA had half's the world's manufacturing output. China has now surpassed the USA in manufacturing and has already surpassed the USA economically in PPP. I'm no fan of China but it's still rising, the USA is falling at least in relative terms.

@wintermute- The USA is financially overstretched, when was the last balanced budget? Look at the debt to GDP trajectory over the past few years. Diplomatically, the Ukraine war has been a total disaster for the USA, even Saudi Arabia is new defecting from the US orbit. Politically the USA is slipping into authoritarianism and it's not that far off open civil war. Crime is out of control and ever more people are living on the streets. China has big problems too but nothing that big. It's slowly and surely breaking free of the export junk to the West economic model. It's a technology leader now in a lot of important upcoming technologies. And most of all, because of moronic US foreign policy, it now has excellent relations with Russia, the world's biggest natural resource supplier. Economic and communication links with Russia are quickly improving. Lastly, the Chinese military is (obviously) building up pretty quickly. Pretty soon they'll outgun the USN in their own region and also, have the nuclear credibility to be prevent any nuclear intimidation by the USA.
