@mikeedwards2537 The Russian birth rate (1.5 births per woman) isn't that much lower than UISA (1.7). The big difference is America is importing millions of people from South America, Africa and Asia whereas Russia keeps immigration low because it wants to stay Russian. If you want to talk about a really low birth rate, Ukraine's was around 1.3 before the war started but has plummeted since then. We don't have accurate numbers but it's estimated to now be the lowest in the world, something like half what it was before the war.

I was impressed first time I saw Zeihan speak. Later I heard him talk about something I know something about and I realised he's just making it up. Slick delivery, crude propaganda.

If you had the brains to understand game theory it should be obvious to you the Russians will retaliate against anything that truly hurts them. Luckily they're confident they're going to win an acceptable cost regardless of these US weapons.

Whereas US politicians are beyond reproach. Trump is sophisticated and modest. Biden is sharp, incorruptible and articulate, though neither of them have the gravitas of Trudeau.
