  4.  @ew1363  I know a fair bit about Ukraine and Russia and follow the war closely. I can promise you his takes on anything to do with that whole area of the world is outrageously misleading, I don't know whether just totally ignorant but looks more like deliberate propaganda.

  6.  @lp9280  I've lived in several European countries and USA too yeah I'd say some European countries have better food than Britain but that still leaves Britain way, way ahead of most of the world including the USA. An American dude ridiculing British food just betrays a total lack of awareness

Americans I've worked with in Europe are totally embarrassed by this argument though many French have the same superiority delusion which comes from ignorance about the rest of the world. Yes we're all aware that in big cities, it is possible to pay high prices for decent food (not so easy in rural Texas) but better than the rest of the world in your cute little dreams.
