Watching neutral sources on the war, Russia is now gaining more territory than Ukraine without taking the high losses in infantry that Ukraine has been. Russia just opened a huge offensive in the north. There's no way the Russians would do that if they had any doubts about being able to hold their land corridor to Crimea. Taking Crimea was never going to happen outside of the Western media echo chamber.

Not so much that they think Russia is their friend, more that they just understand the Ukraine war is a proxy war between the US and Russia and the US is even less of a friend than Russia to most African and Middle Eastern countries.

The Turks aren't so stupid as to start a war with Russia. They've fought a lot of wars with Russia before and it seldom works out well for them.

@youareliedtobythemedia Park a ship in Odessa and the Russians will sink it. It's a game of chicken and the Russians aren't going to back down in Ukraine. If you think a global nuclear war is worth some shipments of grain then good luck convincing Erdogan because the Turks have fought many wars against Russia and they tend to lose badly.

@blafonovision4342 Seizing enemy ships is not piracy. I really don't think escalation is in anyone's interest. A US-Russian war would probably turn nuclear. I hope you realise that means billions of people die.
