Most kids in NC and the rest of the country would do better in trade schools. We need far more electricians and tradespeople than business majors. Make that "free" (it's never free. Someone will be paying and it will be us).

Free speech dies with silence and approval.

Let guess...the greenways are "gun free zones"?

Where do you want the money to come from? And what will the responsibilities of the recipients be?

Eliminate the gas taxes and institute road tolls. The sensors, which many of us already use for toll roads, are cheap. Send them out to every registered vehicle. Then charge a fraction of a cent based on mileage and road use. Then the folks using the roads will fund them.

Weird...this is what socialised medicine looks like. And the NC GOP and others fully support it. The hypocrisy is thick. And I must wonder, since one the politicians stated it, that it was their duty to protect all lives...does this apply to the death penalty?

LOL. Erasing comments? Typical of YT and the press. Here we go..This is an ATF problem. They are the ones conducting the required background checks and clearing these people. Abolish the BATFU. And gun locks do not stop theft. They delay legal gun owners using their firearms in an expedient time when necessary.

"Both"? Wow...guess the media is a bit biased. Just looked at the ballot and there are 4 candidates. As usual you folks ignored Wayne Turner and Mike Ross. Thanks for supporting the duopoly clown car instead of covering other, better, candidates. Yep, the media really is part of the problem.

And another generation of snowflakes are being raised by their snowflake helicopter parents. Maybe Cary needs to put an air conditioned dome over the park and big pillows at the bottom of the slides.

So...which members of which party did this? Oh, the leader admitted who did it. Toss the all out and tell them why. #VoteGold!

Arresting people on public property who are legally exercising their 1st Amendment protected right is the action of a police state. The lawsuits should be impressive. The laws protecting their rights are firmly established. UNC is going to have to raise tuition to cover the suits.

@littleangel4780 "Policy" is not law. That is a public campus and open to the public. Anyone exercising their 1st Amendment protected rights is within their rights to be there. If the so-called "good cops" actually existed they would be protecting the protestors and not carrying out the orders of authoritarian crapheads.
