  1. Every study on this has shown that high speed pursuits are too dangerous and all too often kill innocent people too often. There's a reason that police departments do not hire high IQ employees . Thinking is optional.

  2.  baddriversofthenorcalarea500  The majority of chases are for traffic infractions (almost 50%). Violent crime chases are 9%. All the rest are traffic related, as well. The fact that thousands of people have been killed due to these police hotdogging on the roads is unacceptable in this day and age.
