Rogan is just honest about his curiosity and brings on guests that interest him and the people who listen to him. And it's not politically partisan, as so many others are. And there's nothing wrong with adults indulging in a relaxing smoke of whatever. Heck, most of the haters that dislike him have never listened to more than a clip of any show. Rogan isn't a racist or misogynist. and the people who blithely toss them out are never doing it based on entire conversations or in context. He also believes in actual Free Speech, unlike many others. Absolute free speech is what this country was built on (and, before some pedant pipes up, you can yell fire in a theater. The case that came from was overturned and massively flawed). You should be on his show.
And, despite what you say, we need to hear from everyone. Either to see how they may be good or bad. That's what speech is about. We defeat bad speech with good. And get to see the people we should be vilifying. Rogan isn't giving them his megaphone, he's using it to put them out there for us to see them for what they are, and let us be the judges. Silencing them is more dangerous than putting them in the public eye. And Rogan is not a "journalist". He's having a conversation with people who are in the public eye. Man, his thing with Jones put him out and let him yammer on in his insanity. I don't think any of the imbeciles on the show have benefited enough to make up for the people they lost. He should be the model, in some ways, for the actual media.
