  1. There are two charts easily available online if one is interested in the true driver of the changing of the climate: One is a chart showing the steady decrease in the strength of the Earth's magnetic field. The second chart shows the steady increase in the atmosphere's temperature. As the magnetic field strength decreases, it allows more solar radiation to penetrate deeper into the atmosphere which in turn heats the atmosphere. We could vanish today and it would change nothing. This has happened before and is all natural.

  4.  @InciniumVGC , a real scientist knows that there is no such thing as "settled science". They work every day at places like NIST to research things like the volt, ohm, wavelength of light, etc.

  6.  @cweave5443 , I think that it was an article in either Omni or Popular Science in the late 1970s. Brazil planned to clear-cut the Amazon rainforest and scientists warned against it because it would result in a rise of CO2 levels. Brazil told the world to take a hike.

  8.  @aliale4488 , if you studied geology you'd have learned that the Earth's climate is always changing as is the composition of the atmosphere. Did you know that...once upon a time the oxygen content was 40% and spiders the size of tigers roamed the earth? Nobody wants any of that!

  12. Never forget that everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, in Australia is poisonous and will attempt to kill you! This is why the Brits sent prisoners there...they knew that a substantial number wouldn't survive.
