When you said "minions"...

I guess that 40 years is long enough to forget about the last stupid war. The 20th century is alive and well in Ukraine; Serbia and Kosovo are next, I suppose?

So... it's okay when the Serbs are doing the "cleansing"? It's amazing how much the 21st century resembles the 20th.

@JJ-kj4dy Maybe they'll start playing music videos on MTV again?

"Empire of lies?" Is that Diogenes I see walking up to the Kremlin? He's never been seen in Washington either.

It's always the same... Hitler was protecting ethnic Germans when he invaded the Sudetenland. Putin was protecting ethnic Russians when he invaded Ukraine. Now Serbia is using the same old excuse to invade its neighbors. We didn't start the fire, but we're certainly not doing much to stop it from spreading.

We can do without any new Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs based on Christmas Eve in a bombed-out city. Live and let live.

Elections have consequences, so does choosing to not participate in them.

@Daurentius322 As I've stated before, war is such a 20th century thing. But, and this will lead to the demise of the United States, the problem is always caused by culture clashes, I e., people moving into a different country and then demanding that the country cater to their whims. When my grandparents came to the New Country they kept some traditions but largely accepted the language and cultural norms of the United States. Today's immigrants demand special accommodations for their culture, so you see TV ads and signage in Spanish. There were no such things in Slavic languages on TV and radio, and unless you went to the Eastern European parts of town no signage exists. Hitler used Sudentenland to further his territorial goals, and Putin has used Donbass to further his territorial goals. Will history continue to repeat in Kosovo? How about leaving the Old Country behind and learning to live like the locals instead of trying to force the locals to adapt to you? When in Rome, baby!
