Unfortunately for you and the rest of the Trump haters, his tax returns were illegally leaked in 2018 and proved to be nothing. The IRS is not involved here. No taxing agencies are involved here. No lenders are involved here. No insurance companies are involved here. This case is a fabrication by the state of New York, and nothing else.

@republicansthatdidntvotefo1605 How old are you? Do you remember when the tax rates were damn near confiscatory for those in the upper income brackets and the economy stagflated under Jimmy Carter? The argument was that if the rich, i.e. the investor class, was allowed to keep more of their EARNINGS they would reinvest it and create more jobs. So, they changed the tax codes and brackets. The old way effectively penalized success. Do you advocate penalizing success? If so, where do we begin? Lottery winners? Pro athletes? Successful businessmen? How about the guy who works 80 hour weeks to save a little money for his retirement? Who get it in the wallet?;
