  1. Basically a 48" pipe with fins and propeller. As primitive as possible. I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach and watched the recovery on TV. The story I read is that ever since sonars became common the local fishermen believed it to be a piece of pipe. It took divers to actually discover what the "pipe" actually was.
