@ggraider6806 Do you know what a circular argument is? It just goes around and around. You put out information to bolster your viewpoint, I do the same, and it just keeps going around and around. For instance...you state that because of chain of custody issues the laptop is bogus. Never mind the fact that the FBI verified that it's genuine and then sat on it (and continues to do so) while spinning a tale of "Russian misinformation" for the next year. I take it that you believe that these "whistleblowers" belong in the same dustbin as the dozens of people who swore out affidavits (which were unilaterally dismissed from "lack of standing") alleging election misconduct and irregularities? But don't fret, the Biden's are as pure as the driven snow, and Trump is the REAL criminal here. Am I right?

Educate yourself about how the commodity market works. It's not the oil companies, it's the speculators. Basically, it goes like this: Speculators buy the paper on the oil to be pumped out of the ground 30 days in advance. That gives them 30 days to sell the paper to someone who actually uses the crude oil, like refiners and petrochemical companies. Speculators buy the paper for the finished products and sell it to the end users like railroads, airlines, and petroleum products wholesalers. The beauty of this shell game is that the speculators need only invest $12 cash to control $100 worth of paper. They borrow money from the banks, and until recently, there was zero percent interest on the money. In review: the oil companies float paper that speculators set the price of. When speculators moved into uranium futures legislation was offered that would prevent anyone whose business doesn't use commodities from buying them but the money people protested mightily and Congress backed off. The lone "accomplishment" was to raise the minimum amount of money to buy paper from $10 to $12.
