  6. Gettysburg would be "just another battlefield" if not for the incidents. I feel it whenever I pass through there. Funny thing is that the Flight 93 site doesn't have that vibe, but I once heard that the subway station that was beneath the Twin Towers was "spiritually active".

  13. It's when you're not looking for it that it happens. The first time I went I was about 15 miles away when I got a feeling of dread and hopelessness. Once we got there I watched Pickett's Charge and didn't understand what it was that I was seeing. The second time my ears were filled with the sounds of a battle that no one else could hear. The last time an orb visited us in our hotel room in Greencastle. Perhaps someday I'll write a fictional tale about the night a lone Harley rider encountered a horse-mounted officer. How would he explain himself, his strange "horse", and what happened without inadvertently changing the outcome of the battle?
