  2. My Black Friday consumerism was discount flights and hotels. My last day of work in on Saturday and we depart on January 1. Popping around the US to say goodbye and out the door to Quito in mid January! Lots of flights, cars and hotels to secure.

  3.  @TheYarbros  Cuenca is the real draw. I was there in 2014 and loved it. Now going to do a long evaluation and kick around EC for the six months we are allowed on tourist visas. After that, we might consider professional or investor visas for the longer term.
