  4.  @zerofactor7871  The elephant in the room is that Lithium batteries will cause far more pollution, not only during mining, but also during disposal. Combustion, on the other hand, is technically renewable because all the CO2 generated can be reabsorbed by growing trees. Also, depriving a tree from its CO2 is like depriving an animal from its oxygen.
