  1. They should explore alternatives to systemd. I've recently into a severe issue caused by systemd. I have an HID device with its file permissions set only for root despite the udev rules clearly and explicitly setting user access. Not even restarting udev would fix this. Only "sudo udevadm trigger" fixes this, but I have to do this every time I plug in the device.
