  1. You can cut concrete, with the advantage that you don't need supporting walls. Plus, concrete is not flimsy like stick frames used in US houses.

  4. I don't like how american houses are built nowadays. Why are wood beams made of what is essentially agglomerate, and only two thin strips of wood, at the bottom and at the top, taking all the compressive and tensile forces? A solid wood beam would be much better. That house was definitely not made to last. An incident with water would make the whole floor unstable.

  7. 24K gold doesn't rub off easily. I have ENIG plated PCBs, on which the gold plating is much inferior to anything 24K, and very thin (30um), and that finish never rubbed off. Stop defending YouTube.

  8. Copper and zinc. Brass, essentially. About the plating, I'm not surprised that it is not even pure gold plating. Google is corrupt. So, no surprises there.

  9. I can confirm that your theory is probably correct. The plating is just insufficient on those buttons, and for sure it is not pure gold.
