  1. The IMF actually creates instability. A country is better off without IMF. Note that IMF loans the money, and wants it back in a few months, with great interest. Plus, IMF governs countries, imposing austerity and cuts in funding.

  2. When a country relies only on tourism, it is a recipe for disaster. In fact, in Portugal relies too much on tourism, and the incompetent politicians still bet on that, despite what happened during COVID.
