  2.  @_PatrickO  Meanwhile Facebook harbors such content and nothing happens. Since Telegram is encrypted point-to-point, it is impossible to know what content is there, even by the admins. On the other hand, Facebook knows what content is there and is complicit.

  3. When I heard the news about the charges, my immediate thought was fabrication. The guy just got framed like Monalisa. Meanwhile, Facebook is known for harboring indecent and illegal images and nothing is done.

  4. Mastodon is leftist as heck. I'm not surprised that it harbors indecent pictures. Just as Facebook. So, illegal activities are not the problem, but the lack of censorship of Telegram.
