  1. One thing, for sure, is that Linux is already turning into mush (Linus, on the other hand, is already mush, BTW). Now, some programs in my computer will freeze after a completely unrelated kernel update is done. I have to restart. Some of these programs were done by myself, but they used to work flawlessly until recently. And it is impossible to debug this behavior because it is a hang and not a crash.
