@itsnotokgolf Most moderators on YouTube and Facebook are bots. It is not a coincidence when you post a dissenter comment (dissenter from the main narrative perspective, that is) that it is removed right away. A telltale sign is that you get an error when trying to edit it, and it disappears.

Basically, that's due to corporate bean counters. They basically destroy everything they touch. I remember that, in the beginning, a site didn't cost much to run, and it was basically coded by hand. A main page probably only took a few KiB, even with images. Things were far simpler and organic, and you could find plenty of technical information about electronics. Not the "replace all electrolytic capacitors" nonsense we see today on YT.

@volundrfrey896 YouTube has massive problems with bots, but it is by design. They already know, so as Facebook. Bots are needed to artificially inflate traffic, because basically these platforms are bust, but the money still needs to go in. They have to fool the advertisers and give them an impression that YouTube still provides a good bang for the buck.

@Gonzakoable Internet Archive is a flop. It failed its main mission, by design. If the objective was to destroy preserved information, they did it with flying colors, and even the fact of them existing possibly prevented other sites like that from popping up.

That's why I see so many bots in the comments section. AI is so bad that I'm learning to recognize it at a geometric proportion. The human brain is far more advanced at recognizing patterns.
