The South Africa way of living is unacceptable to me. I don't wish to live in a country where either I'm constantly in fear or desensitized to the point of inhumanity.

Probably the genius that damaged the connector had instructions to do so. How it is always the same pin that gets bent, and not any other? It is clear to me.
40
Actually, right to repair was already under discussion before Louis sent the message. But indeed, Louis will give useful input. The EU tends to work differently, and lobbying is not allowed (ideally).

@jeroen5838 No, it is not my fault, and I happen to be Portuguese (an European, for now). I do not accept any faults for someone else's actions (of slavery, Apartheid, whatever, because I don't even condone such actions to begin with, and never had). Don't generalize or speak for all Europeans, because you are not entitled to. No one is.
27
@Tom-qz8xw No, it is not the demographics. It is the misery that is spreading, because banksters are interested in that sort of situation. Remember that it is in misery that oppression and dictators arise. Pre WWII Germany lived a situation of instability and then Hitler came and the problems magically dissipated: because it was Hitler and his goons that were causing the unrest in the first place. Lets see who presents the solution, and that person is likely to be the culprit of the current situation.

You were formatted to think that way. But ads do steal your time, as well as they harm the creator.
17
@ShadowSumac Indeed. In fact, I think Europeans should never set a foot in Africa again. The whole continent is cursed. I'm sure I won't. I know for a fact that Angola is one of the most racist countries. They speak ill of the Portuguese. We just wasted money and resources there, and colonialism was a bad idea. Much of our limestone was converted into cement to build buildings and dams in Angola and Mozambique. Many of our men died defending what was not ours to begin with. What a waste!

YouTube probably banned your comment. They can do that, you know. Conversely, Louis pinned this comment of yours. That speaks volumes on how Louis handles criticism.

It requires elephant power to break a micro-USB connection. Even a two-year old can fit a square peg in a square hole. I can't understand how people break connectors.
5
And they even have legislative power. So, not only do they get to control their employees, they also can control people that want to have nothing to do with them.
4
@ryankuna No, he was honest and admitted his mistake. That's what many people nowadays can't even do.
3
"Self-leveling concrete examples". That made my day. LOL
3
Dmitri Bulbasaur Why are they racist? I don't like Apple, but them being racist? Only if they are promoting these antifa movements, because antifa and BLM are racist.
2
It will start with drones, and it will end with people being microchipped.
2
I would say even more. Ads are a theft of my time and electricity as a viewer. So, it is my best interest to avoid them. As a creator, I totally support ad blockers.
2
I would say that insulting clients is a very bad business practice. Oh well, Apple.
2
Governments protecting pdf files, as always. Hence the child raping files in the UK, and so on.
2
Samsung needs to be sued. It is not the first time that this company does shady business.
2
The name should be changed to TekDryJoints.
2
Yup, pretty much. I'm admired that it didn't fail during the test. But it will, since it hardly had any solder on it.
2
@W..949 Which comment? About Angola? No, it is very accurate.
2
@eug3nius Indeed. That explains it.
2
@Antiteshmis All I'm saying is that is no way of life. If the violence problem issues stem from diversity, yes, I agree. Different cultures will always clash, disrespect each other, rob each other, and seeking a different multicultural society (one with no violence) is an utopia. History has proven that over and over. That is why some say that the devil builds bridges. Because different people will never understand each other.
2
@Antiteshmis What did you expect from a white guy like me? Bias?
2
I'm amazed to see how easy it is to scrape the soldermask from a Macbook logic board with a blunt soldering tip. By seeing other videos, it is easy to lift pads. The FR4 substrate Apple uses for their boards must be of the cheapest, lowest quality.
2
This is ridiculous. And I imagine, not hygienic at all.
2
Kudos to this guy. He basically denied what previous (Apple) lobbyists said.
2
The Church of Scientology has no valid opinion on this, and no credibility at all. Press on! Their device, by the way, is ridiculous. Any electronics student can design a meter that essentially is a Darlington pair driving a galvanometer. The thing is not even calibrated. And they want to oppose the law to protect such useless device?
2
You can always go to another platform if that happens. That's what I do.
2
Good news. The downfall of Amazon.
2
I normally deep fry my boards in flux. Yup, improper amount confirmed.
2
The hospital will never, ever, have grounds for suing, regardless of the circumstances in the contract.
2
"Allowlist" is newspeak for whitelist. I love Brave ads. The problem is that Google might pull the rug from under Brave.
1
You got that right. For example, António Guterres didn't fare well in Portugal, neither Durão Barroso. Both of them are crap politicians.
1
The cities are so ridden with crime, that it is just not worth it.
1
Mrs Katrina needs a lesson on conflicts of interest. This is not shady, it is criminal!
1
@Dietbutcher That has happened before.
1
So, the car does not handle water well? Like an Apple computer?
1
Samsung following the steps of Apple? Removing the headphone jack is a very stupid move. Personally, I prefer to use headphones because of the better sound quality and also to not disturb people around me.
1
Don't forget that AMD may not provide proprietary drivers in Linux distributions. Also, hardware manufacturers often don't provide documentation for free. That explains why certain features won't work on AMD graphics cards.
1
The fundamental problem is that YouTube is looking for more and more profit, milking the cow while they can (they already have that losing mindset). And a couple of ads every 5 minutes just makes a video unwatchable.
1
These people that are suggesting you chop chop tactics, are dishonest.
1
Like many of the big tech. Google is corrupt, Apple is corrupt... and so on.
1
Why anti-far-left? Admission of guilt? Maybe because the far-left is notable for being against privacy? Or it is just a coincidence?
1
@paulh.9526 Are you an idiot? Since when using an ad-blocker is a terrorist act?
1
Are you in NYC again? Oh no...
1
Fusion72 What does black culture have to do with police unions? It is up to you to help black culture, if yiu are so worried about that.
1
@ChadDidNothingWrong Indeed, it is fair to say that some police officers mistreat everyone, black or white. But it is only the black being mistreated that we see. The white, asian, whatever victims are dismissed as such. Also, not every police officer is bad, and I believe most are good.
1
Net Yaroze Karma will violate them, rest assured. Some people think they are above the rest. They don't.
1
@Mini-z1994 Don't give these people (the looters) ideas by describing what kind of equipment is there. I was avoiding doing it myself. No one needs to know.
