  1. It requires elephant power to break a micro-USB connection. Even a two-year old can fit a square peg in a square hole. I can't understand how people break connectors.

  2. Bad idea. USB-C is totally unnecessary. As for micro-USB, I don't have any issues, and never had. Remind that mini-USB was far worse, because it was not durable at all, even if you were careful. USB-C is not hobbyist friendly. It is impossible to implement that port on a new project. The EU should not mandate this. It is out of their territory, as they don't know anything about electronics.
