  1. They recently removed the capacity of mirroring to repositories on GitLab. If they want to delete inactive repos, then what is the point of having a repo? Some software is there for historic reasons, to support legacy hardware, for example. Also, this doesn't help open source software at all. How they do expect me to pay money if I don't receive a penny from my contributions?

  2. It is a cash cow made under the pretense of supporting open source projects. Of course, with this, they are not supporting such projects.
