Indeed. Today people even laugh, even if they happened to be on a boat that suffered a similar fate at the time. Yes, people are that desensitized. For instance, here in Portugal I saw some ladies from Ukraine asking for money for drones (yes, they clearly stated that), but outright rejecting food and other stuff. As much as I'm against Putin, that is a very cold attitude.
