  7. Copying is cheating and without purpose. Better to be original. Also, I don't see how copying is an act of homage. It is a disrespect and also detrimental for the original creator in some cases (for example, copying OSH projects without adding anything of value, or simply copying products).

  8. Sorry lady, but what kind of flattery not only makes no mention of the original creator/artist, but also rips them off? China infamously copied a component detector project that was created by a German, and is now selling millions of copies on eBay, while making no mention of the original project or creator.
