The southern hemisphere used to actually be very rich in ancient times - there were many kingdoms throughout South America and Africa and also southeast Asia and India that were amazingly beautiful and luxurious, with large armies and palaces for royalty.

See, I don't know why the narrator changed his cadence and does that weird accent at the end of his words now. I have misophonia I find it really triggering. I can definitely listen to this so much easier! I want to support the channel but he needs to really stop with that phony accent. It's not fun for people who are neurodivergent like me to have to listen to. I have absolutely no problem listening to authentic and innate accents, and communicate on a daily basis with multiple people from various parts of the world to have thick accents. I also don't mind speaking in different languages and using pigeon, although I'm not fluent, I can speak conversational Japanese and Italian and Spanish and I studied Latin for 4 years. This video just proved to me that this is something that he's doing to get views on his new videos or try to make himself stand out in some way from other narrators. Somebody from Reddit had suggested that he had contrived the strange accent that he intentionally adds on to the end of his words in newer in order to make himself sound different from others, and I believe that they are right.

I've been scrolling the comments but can't find an answer to what this dude's accent is? I noticed he's in trying to mitigate it, but in some videos it's really really intense! It always comes off at the end of a sentence. Black Jauck

Why does this guy stretch out the end of certain words sometimes? It's so weird, and I have misophonia so I find his videos unlistenable. It's a shame because I'm autistic and I'm really interested in this type of stuff! If it didn't happen so often it would be more tolerable but it just is so irregular it throws off my brain's expectation of flow, and due to my neurobiology, it's extremely unpleasant.
