@kayleigh3648 not if you have a mental illness and can't say the correct words to express what you're thinking, or your thoughts are so disordered you can't determine if you're thirsty/hungry or not. That's a very common symptom for people who are mentally ill. I can tell that you've never worked with patients. That's what that doctor was saying, you're making a mistake of assuming they would behave the same way that you would.
