@apriledmonds4775 exactly, he knew if they fled they would get caught and so he wanted to get rid of her because she could testify against him. Not that he would be eligible for parole anyways. He's just a sick statistic individual.

@simplybeachyforever1005 she might have already been holding it ready to fire back at the officers who were pursuing her and then he grabbed it and shot her with her own gun while it was still in her hand. I've been manhandled with a dude like that before when I was holding something, it wasn't a gun though. It was my wallet. I would not let go of it because he was trying to take control and he even opened it up and took my credit cards out while it was still in my hand. It was really scary.
