Some of them do suffer from psychosis but those usually fall into type a personality groups unless they have schizophrenia or drug induced psychosis. Psychosis and psychopathy are not the same thing whatsoever. Psychosis is a detachment from reality, and psychopathy is a lack of empathy and overabundance of dopamine which leads the individual to go to Great lengths to get adrenaline rushes, that is why they fit outside of the normal boundaries. They also use their own moral set of ethics and justice selectively to manipulate the world around them, they believe that they are the ones who are correct in everybody else is wrong. They live parasitically and triangulate individuals. They dispose of them and come back to them frequently throughout life. They usually have a lot of narcissistic traits and often are chemical abusers. Sociopaths are less likely to maintain a steady career path, psychopaths on the other hand usually can attain great heights if they focus. The majority of psychopaths and sociopaths are not sadistic, but the ones who are can be very violent and scary.
