If the abuser never leaves, and if you don't have a phone, Go to the internet, for instance somewhere like YouTube where they have live streams. And post comments stating that you are in danger and need help. The internet community is fast to call 911 and try to figure out the best way to get people to help you. Medicines are always down to call 911 and do some internet detective work to help out somebody. Not underestimate the power of the online community, especially if you need somebody to get help for you.

That's not true. People who are abusive have either witnessed or undergone abuse at some point in their life. They don't just come up with the stuff on their own. If they do, that's because they've been put in the situation where they were not able to feel joy in any other way. It's very rare that a psychopath is going to become violent or sadistic without going through it themselves. There are lots of successful psychopaths running businesses and otherwise successful lives without being abusive towards people. Psychopathy would be what you're talking about because that's a condition that somebody is born with as opposed to sociopathy, which is a combination of head trauma and environment.

@veganbutterfly3652 if you didn't feel abused then he wasn't abusive. I mean come on. If you love the guy and it was a healthy relationship for you and don't worry about it. I'm an LMHP and it's really sad how these people online get folks self-diagnosing and jump into conclusions.

@CG-wr4no antisocial personality disorder is trademarked by the ability to mask. When somebody's extremely friendly, when they're charming, and they love bomb, when they're too friendly, what they share too quickly, when they offer you something. Those are all red flags too when they offer you something and you say no and they try to offer it to you again, that's their way of trying to test your real and see if they can break you. They might not even realize that's why they're doing it, but that's what that's for cuz we're trying to peer pressure and push somebody into doing what they want.
