@cv8499 something very similar happened to one of my friends, only she was in her late 40s when she married a very well-off man and then they paid for in vetero, got preggo, then moved into a dream house together. She discovered he was cheating on her with a 21 year old after theor twins were born. Because he made more money than her, he was rewarded custody and she gets visitations every other weekend. She also had to move out of the house.

@dollyrevenge98 the father of my children refused to be a part of their lives when I told him he would have to quit drinking and using drugs and physically abusing me if you wanted to participate in their lives. This was after years of abuse, the last straw was when I was pregnant the second time that he kicked me in my face and try to say that he was joking around. I kicked him out that night when I was 4 months pregnant, he came to the hospital the night of the delivery, met the baby and has never seen her since. That was in 2017. I have known that man since 1999! I later discovered he's was called a covert narcissist and he hid his drug addiction from me in order to manipulate me. The irony is that I was working from home as a substance use disorder program manager for a major healthcare company! But yeah, he threw me for a loop and once I put him out he never has made a single effort to see his children. Not a single phone call or anything. I heard that he was telling people online that I was trying to keep him from his kids! That's a trip because between the years 2013 and 2016 he was accusing me of being a stalker and harassing him because I would call him so often to see his kids. And when I say so often, I mean once every couple days. I wouldn't blow up his phone all day long. He told everybody that I was judgmental and abusive because I told him that I didn't want him using drugs or alcohol in my house. He also tried to tell his friends that I treated him like a slave because I wanted him to pick up after himself and do dishes and help keep the apartment clean since I paid all the bills completely 100%, and the only stipulation for him to live with me was to keep the apartment clean. And he couldn't even do that. He turned out being seriously a disturbed individual.

@bl2023 I was physically in psychologically abused by my narcissistic ex off and on for 7 years and the police never wants took my side even though I was the only person on the lease, I had video evidence, I had the physical proof right in front of them which they still claimed they couldn't tell who punched the holes in the wall, it clearly wasn't me who was disabled at the time with arthritic hands and carpal tunnel braces on. But they still believe that monsters lies that somebody like myself who's only 5'6 and 115 lb could punch a bunch of holes through doors and walls in an apartment building that happened to be way taller than my height because my baby's dad was 6 ft 2. I'm telling you. I wish I would have had my autism diagnosis at the time. Every time the cops came over I was in what's called a shutdown where I would just be crying really hard and unable to speak and explain what's going on, and the officers would basically take his side and call me crazy and make me leave my own apartment. It was the most warped shit I ever had to deal with. And it kept happening over and over because our neighbors would always call the cops.
