They absolutely are in the operators/dispatcher should be held liable. It is a requirement for them to dispatch officers anytime there is a gun at a scene and domestic violence.. that was clearly domestic violence and they could hear her in the background having to play off her phone call. They should have immediately dispatched officers. They failed her and because of them, she's dead. I 100% blame a officers because at this point we can only assume that they could have arrived within enough time to save her. He could have had her tied up for days before he decided to finally shoot her. I dated somebody who held a girl captive in his apartment for over a year and he was beating her regularly and not letting her leave, he took all of her clothes and controlled every aspect of her life. He eventually did 17 years in prison. I was giving him a ride back and forth to his apartment and taking him to work and hanging out with him smoking weed, going to concerts and stuff... He was super cool. It was really freaky when I found out the truth about him. Super scary. I would have had no idea if I wasn't informed by a third party after he got locked up.

@MochiTheAxolotl69 👏💯 I didn't read your comment but I wrote one similar, I'm sure you've read it it if you bothered with this one, lol. But that is absolutely f*** up, they are required to show up when somebody has a gun and for any domestic violence call, especially hang ups. They're specifically trained with hang up calls. I know because I was going to be coming at 911 operator at one point, but I ended up getting a job in healthcare. They spend a long time on the domestic violence lessons when they train operators. Those phone calls are more escalated because there's a much higher risk of homicide.
